What this job involves
Due to new business wins we are looking for a Senior Facilities Manager who will support locations in the Australia and across APAC. You will manage a team of coordinators, vendors and services, support projects, oversee all ongoing preventative maintenance tasks and work with multiple internal teams. Flexible hours may be required, with core work largely during regular business hours.
Beyond the tactical facilities components of this job, you take pride in making the client space both beautiful and functional, and know how important even the tiniest details are to making a space great.
A snapshot of the role responsibilities:
Project ManagementSupport ongoing facilities projects as needed, including tenant improvement projects, furniture adds, changes, or modifications, and office openings and decommissioning projects.People ManagementManage a professional team of facilities coordinators to keep Client’s APAC offices at peak operation.Collaborate/Vendor ManagementOversee service level agreements with vendors and suppliers to support operations to facilitate repairs, maintenance and construction.Client ManagementProactively engage stakeholders to ensure on site client’s expectations are met.FinanceHelp develop the annual budget in your region. This includes development of annual maintenance plans, facility improvements projects and cost reduction projects.FacilitiesBe the subject matter expert for all Facilities and building operations in your region.Sound like you? Experience in facilities operations across multiple commercial locationsStrong project management skills with recognized qualificationExcellent communication and presentation skillsExperience leading and developing coordinatorsProficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Corrigo, Jira, and CMMSIndustry certifications (FMP, IFMA, BOMA) recommendedUnderstanding of construction specifications and blueprintsExperience in lease management and Building Management SystemsYou have proven experience in Facilities Management and some exposure to managing remote offices is preferred. You passionately inspire and encourage a 'customer and team' focused vision and vocabulary.
You will be an engaging people manager who thrives on developing your team. Exceptional leadership skills will encourage the onsite Facilities Coordinators to achieve the best possible performance and will motivate, engage, and promote personal development.
Sound knowledge of risk management, vendor management as well as good budget management and financial skills will be preferred and you are a strategic thinker who can deal with ambiguity and can solve complex problems effectively.
