**Job Description :** **Senior Experience Ambassador, Guinness Open Gate Brewery London** **Location: Covent Garden, London** **Full time, Permanent** **Closing Date: May 17th 2025** **About Us   ** The Guinness Open Gate Brewery London new Guinness neighbourhood in London that will inspire the best in brewing, food, retail and culture. Consisting of 52,000 square feet of heritage buildings and central courtyard in the historic brewing quarter in Covent Garden, GOGBL will become a key growth driver for Guinness, placing the brand in culture, driving relevancy and brand saliency amongst a new generation of drinkers. GB is the biggest Guinness market globally and Guinness is enjoying a period of exceptional growth and cultural magnetism, with the brand growing by around 50% since 2019 to the biggest it has ever been in value, volume and market share in the brand’s 264-year history. **Key elements of the site include:** + Iconic Guinness Gates as main entrance to the experience, offering huge cultural impact in the heart of London. + Restaurants/Taproom/bars – world class food and beer produced and served on site. + Central all weather historic courtyard with world class bar experience. + Retail spaces, one of which will stock items produced through exciting short-term brand collaborations. + Bespoke 5th floor glass box rooftop eating and drinking experience creating brand new rooftop view of London. + Brewery and beer experience/tasting tours. + Cultural events space designed and fitted out with technology to enable world class meeting and conference experiences **About the Role** The right candidate will become a recognized friendly face of Guinness Open Gate Brewery London. The role will work closely with the Head of Experience and involve leading the tour guide teams on shift, their training, induction and development. Work hours will include evenings and weekends, interacting face to face with trade representatives, general public and the broader beer community.  **The candidate will assist the Head of Experience with;** + Managing the on-site visitor experiences + Visitor experience content and scripts + Liaising with the GOGBL Brewery Operations team to manage the supply of beers as part of the visitor experiences. + Coordinating tour scheduling and Tour Guide shift rota. + Training the Tour Guide team to deliver the GOGBL tour experiences. + Ensuring the GOGBL tour experience delivers high levels of customer satisfaction. + Managing all Diageo personnel site visits, including those from Diageo Exec members, ensuring these fit in with the external Events program managed by the Catering Operating Partner. + Day to day management of the Visitor Experience and Events team, including working with Agencies and/or the Catering Operating Partner with regards to temporary/agency staff. **Responsibilities:** + Embody the spirit of Guinness and share this passion with others. + Host events and trainings to bring the Brewery beer portfolio to life. + Deliver brewery tours on a regular basis to VIPs, Trade guests and consumers. + Regularly spend time engaging beer drinkers and make genuine connections. + Utilise various social media channels to showcase regional brand activity and connect with bartenders, retail operatives and members of the beer community.  + Develop strong working relationships in order to become a trusted source for all things GOGBL among sales and marketing teams, including brand inductions & innovation presentations. + Support all stakeholders in their commercial planning around Diageo beer sales goals. + Identify new opportunities for sales growth for Diageo beer brands. + Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while on site, owning relationships with senior stakeholders such as corporate relations, H&S and brewery operation managers. + Operate within prescribed budget, ensure return on investment, submitting all T&E claims in a timely and compliant manner. **Role Requirements:** + Must be passionate about beer & beer culture. + Experience in experiential economy + The ability to engage & captivate a crowd on any occasion. + Beer expertise and in-depth understanding of its various brewing processes.    + Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. + Ability to work on own initiative with full responsibility for implementing projects and KPIs.  + Applicant should be driven, able to multitask, and competitive. **Working with Us** Flexibility is key to success in our business and many of our people work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time, compressed hours, flexible location.
