We are seeking a talented individual to join our Expatriate Benefits team at Mercer. This role will be based in one of our major cities in the US. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Join an expanding Center of Excellence as a subject matter expert on expatriate benefits programs. You will manage expatriate medical, dental, life, and disability plans, including annual renewals, competitive marketing, and ad hoc projects on behalf of large multinational employers. Collaborating with colleagues in both the domestic U.S. health and international consulting teams, you will support clients with globally mobile populations through holistic solutions.
We will count on you to:
Review client needs, recommend suitable approaches, and help implement expat benefit program strategies.Manage client activities and direct work to team members according to roles/responsibilities.Build effective relationships, internally and externally.Review and analyze renewals and competitive marketing exercises.Ensure fair and sustainable expat program renewals.Coordinate Requests for Proposal on behalf of a client.Present marketing results and annual renewals to clients.Handle day-to-day client contact/management to resolve project-related questions and challenges, and guide junior staff members in client interactions.Communicate Mercer's position on expat industry trends to clients effectively.Maintain awareness of the expat insurance vendor marketplace and evolving global compliance landscape.Review external vendor contracts to ensure alignment with client expectations and requirements.Delegate, guide, and coach junior staff and peer review their work.Develop internal and client reputation as a trusted expat advisor.Work with internal colleagues to provide holistic support for clients across multiple lines of business and geographies.Participate in new business opportunities and COE intellectual capital development.What you need to have:
Minimum 5+ years of work experience, with employee health benefits programs (US or global).2+ years of experience with expatriate benefits programs carrier/consulting/client) and/or working with multinational employers.Ability to confidently engage with clients in formal and ad-hoc situations.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize information and draw conclusions.Proficiency using Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong business acumen.What makes you stand out:

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $122,400 to $244,800.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
