We are looking for a team-oriented, highly organized, and proactive problem solver to provide a full range of administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).  

You need to have sound organizational skills and a growth mindset along with a track record of building interpersonal relationships with employees at all levels of the organization while upholding a high level of confidentiality.

The position will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) but work collaboratively with other senior leaders and executive assistants.

This role is responsible for a broad variety of tasks in support of the Chief Human Resources Officer & their team.  

In this role, you will:

Manage an extremely active calendar of global appointment. This includes planning, coordinating, and ensuring the CHRO’s schedule is followed and respected.

Provide "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the Leader's time and office.

Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CHRO including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CHRO and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with Enterprise Kimberly-Clark Senior Management.

Participate as an adjunct member of the Human Resource Global Leadership Team meetings.

Work closely and effectively with the CHRO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.  Act as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CHRO updated.

Provide leadership to build cross-functional and global relationships crucial to the success of the organization.

Own execution of business projects as assigned by the CHRO, other Global Leaders, or the Chief of Staff. 

Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

Partner with the Chief of Staff or members of the senior leader team to arrange and schedule meetings & events, including coordinating the agenda, preparing any meeting materials and or presentations, scheduling the conference space/technology required, coordinate all IT resources and catering.

Complete expense reports; compose and prepare confidential communications; arrange complex and detailed domestic and international travel plans, itineraries, and agendas and compile documents for travel-related meetings.

Work with other Enterprise Sr. Executive Assistants sharing best practices and coordinating calendars. 

Support and sometimes lead on-boarding activities for Executive new hires.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum 8 years of experience supporting SVP and/or C-Level Executives.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).

Experience working with diverse audiences and/or global experience a plus.

Web based (Concur) travel and expense reporting system knowledge a plus.

Expert level written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to effectively influence across all levels of the organization.

Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-cultural stakeholders, including Staff and external partners.

Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with sound decision-making capability.

Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.

Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.

SAP and Workday experience a plus.

Salary Range: 82 580 – 97 540 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position is eligible for overtime pay and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
