The role will report to the Team Lead of AML function. Working closely with the Head of Regulatory Compliance, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Regional Compliance team and various business stakeholders within the organisation, this individual will assist to manage the Company’s anti-money laundering compliance program to ensure all business activities are conducted in accordance with applicable AML/CFT laws, regulations and corporate policies.
Position Responsibilities
Support the Team Lead of AML function in managing and addressing regulatory requirements (AML/CFT) in various aspects of the business and operations.
Provide AML/CDD advisory to the management and business stakeholders e.g., enhanced customer due diligence for high risk customers, sanctions, source of wealth/funds verification,etc
Oversee the Enhanced Due Diligence AML review of HNW and high risk applications.
Provide advice to management and business stakeholders on FATCA/CRS requirements.
Develop and review AML/CFT policies and procedures and conduct trainings.
Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessment on AML/CFT.
Handle all AML survey/questionnaire as required by Regional Office and/or regulators.
Provide guidance to team members on procedures and guidelines, leading and nuturing the team.
Required Qualification:
At least 5 years of working experience in financial crime compliance within the financial industry (preferably insurance).
Preferred Qualifications:
An AML qualification such as CAMs, would be advantageous.
