The Chancery Rosewood – opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.
We are seeking a polished and proactive Senior Events Waiter to support the flawless delivery of bespoke events and private functions at The Chancery Rosewood. From intimate gatherings to high-profile galas, you will play a vital role in ensuring guests receive impeccable, intuitive service that reflects our dedication to excellence. Working closely with the Events and Banqueting teams, you will act as a role model on the floor — guiding junior colleagues, anticipating guest needs, and bringing grace and attention to every moment of service.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver warm, seamless and anticipatory service during all events, from set-up through to closing.
Support the Banqueting Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensure every event runs to the highest standard.
Guide, train and support junior team members during service, encouraging teamwork and consistency.
Maintain a strong knowledge of menu items, allergens, dietary alternatives, and wine pairings.
Coordinate with kitchen and stewarding teams to ensure flawless timing and presentation.
Ensure event spaces are immaculately presented at all times.
Respond to guest requests with professionalism, warmth, and a solutions-focused mindset.
Help implement service enhancements and contribute feedback to improve future event experiences.
Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, especially around hygiene, safety, and guest confidentiality.
About You:
You have previous experience in high-end or luxury hospitality events service.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and remain composed and professional under pressure.
You are naturally warm, observant, and proactive in anticipating guest needs.
