Senior Event Executive

Company Description

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.

Job Description

Position Overview​​
This role is responsible for planning and executing trade show events in beauty industry, coordinating partnerships, and driving PR/marketing strategies to achieve business goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in event management, stakeholder collaboration, and creative communication.

​​Key Responsibilities​​

​​1. Event Planning & Execution​​

Organize promotional activities (press conferences, opening ceremonies, seminars, webinars, VIP tours, etc.).Research and secure event venues, equipment, and services (interpretation, secretarial support).Manage on-site operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless event delivery.Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations, analyze feedback and report outcomes. Analyze trends, conduct market/industry research and feedback to optimize future initiatives and event/PR strategies.

​​2. Partner & Stakeholder Management​​

Develop and maintain relationships with conference partners, keynote speakers, media, and vendors.Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, finance, etc.) to align event/PR strategies with project goals.Coordinate with conference partners to ensure expectations are met within budget.

​​3. Marketing & PR Strategies​​

Design and implement publicity campaigns and PR strategies.Produce promotional content (press releases, articles, presentations, videos, web content).Manage media relations, handle inquiries, and collate/analyze media coverage.Collaborate with the marketing team to drive event promotion and brand visibility.

​​4. Budget & Financial Management​​

Forecast PR cash flow, manage budgets, and track costs in collaboration with finance teams.Ensure cost-effective resource allocation for events and campaigns.

​​5. Administrative & Operational Support​​

Prepare delegate lists, conference proceedings, and post-event reports.Supervise production of multimedia materials (videos, photographs, films).Handle administrative tasks and ad hoc duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications

​​Education​​

Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

​​Experience​​

Minimum 4 years in event management, PR, or a similar role.Proven track record in organizing conferences, seminars, and VIP events and solid experience in managing PR campaigns across multiple channels.

​​Technical Skills​​

Proficiency in English (written and spoken).Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.Competency in multimedia production tools (for videos, presentations, etc.).

​​Core Competencies​​

Creative, flexible, and collaborative team player.Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
