Being part of the Digital Function, you will apply your experience and familiarity with domain data processes in the Finance business area to support organizations like Planning and Performance, Accounting Reporting& Control, Tax, Audit, Investor relation etc. The team provides data engineering, reporting and analytics support to this organization across a broad range of discipline and business requirements.
Let me tell you about the roleWe are seeking a Senior Enterprise Technology Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SAP BW on/for HANA, Native HANA, ABAP, Analysis for Office, BPC Embedded Planning, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The ideal candidate will possess proven business acumen, along with a basic understanding of financial and accounting planning and performance processes, including modules such as FI and PPM. This role will be responsible for designing and maintaining a comprehensive Management Information (MI) Reporting suite to support evolving business requirements.
As a Senior Enterprise Technology Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for crafting, developing, and optimizing data models and ETL flows within the SAP BW and BW/4HANA environment. This position plays a key role in delivering actionable insights across procurement, supplier, and inventory data domains.
The role requires performing core responsibilities such as data modeling, ETL configuration, and integration of new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing frameworks. The candidate will collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data accuracy and accessibility and is encouraged to play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision making by ensuring that data pipelines are robust, efficient, and scalable.
Key AccountabilitiesWork as part of a cross-disciplinary team, collaborating closely with data engineers, Technology engineers, technical lead, data managers, and business collaborators.Bring experience in IT and Digital Transformation across both Development and Operations (DevOps) functions.Demonstrate strong analytical, technical, reporting, and programming capabilities.Extensive hands-on expertise in architecture, solution design, planning, build, delivery, and operational support.Participate in large-scale system implementations, rollouts, and sophisticated migration projects.Proficient in building SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reports, Analysis for Office reports, and Excel macros.Experienced in developing planning and forecasting solutions using BPC Embedded Planning or SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise Planning.Own the design and implementation of SAP SAC solutions for planning, forecasting, and reporting.Develop and maintain SAC Analytic and Planning models, stories, dashboards, SAC scripts, and Data Actions.Proactively drive the simplification, standardization, and optimization of existing data analytics solutions.Design and develop data sources in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA, with in-depth understanding of SAP transactional and master data tables.Extract, transform, and load data from SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems into the BW on/for HANA data warehouse.Collaborate with product owners and multi-functional teams to capture requirements and deliver effective data solutions.Knowledge or experience in Databricks, Azure Data Factory, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA is a plus.Actively contribute to improving developer velocity and team efficiency.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Essential Education:Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.Professional certification, master’s degree, or extensive relevant work experience.Certifications: SAP BW on HANA, BW4HANA, Power BI Certified Application Associate (preferred)Essential Experience and Job Requirements:Over 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA Modeling Tools, SAP HANA SQL, and ABAP.At least 3 years of experience with SAP BPC Embedded Planning or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Enterprise Planning.Familiarity with Finance and Planning modules.Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, BW/4HANA, BPC, and Core Data Services (CDS) Views.Proficient in data modeling, data integration, and data visualization.Experience with Cloud Connectors or SAP Data Intelligence is a plus.Advanced knowledge of databases and SQL.Solid understanding of Databricks is an added advantage.Participated in a minimum of 2–3 full-cycle SAP implementations or rollouts.Experience with BW upgrades or BW to BW/4HANA migrations, including at the least exposure to migration activities.Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.Experience with unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and cutover planning.Strong collaborator leadership skills and the ability to lead initiatives through technical influence.What we offer:It’s crucial to us that the differences we see in the world around us are reflected in our workplace.
