Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect - Erlanger, KY

The Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect will combine advanced expertise in technology design methods across modern cloud infrastructure, network, security, application, integration, and data architectures.  This individual will have an excellent grasp of technical design principles and support the development of enterprise design patterns, artifacts, and repositories.  This individual will possess cross-functional architecture expertise and the ability to create new technical solution architecture designs.   

This is a Senior Architect-level position within ADM’s Enterprise Architecture team.  It requires mature, confident communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with ADM GT leadership without supervision, as well the ability to work with detailed-level IT engineers, developers, and architects.

Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the definition of ADM technical Cloud roadmaps, standards, and reference architecture patterns, especially regarding cloud infrastructure, security, and networking, DevSecOps, automation, CI:CD, Infrastructure as Code, Policy as Code, Cloud service automation, etc...Lead cross-functional solution design efforts involving cloud, applications, integration, data and analytics, networks, and securityTake accountability for solution requirement definitions, conceptual, and high- and low-level design artifact generationLead technical design reviewsDevelop expertise in areas of technical need (e.g., for emerging cloud technologies)Lead or manage SaaS and Cloud Vendor review processes when requiredManage adherence to defined architecture standards throughout the solution development lifecycleProvide oversight and coaching to the business, Tech Ops, and Solution Delivery colleagues for technical architectureProvide subject matter expertise to design, develop, and implement complex architecture in alignment with Enterprise Architecture’s direction and standardsMaintain knowledge of industry trends and utilize this knowledge to educate both IT and the business on opportunities to build better target architectures that support and drive business decisionsSupport IT Enterprise governance functions (RFI’s, vendor risk assessments, etc…)Support FinOps activities as requiredSupport Multi-Cloud Strategy developmentJob RequirementsAzure Solution Architect certification required8 years of public cloud experience15+ years of IT experience1+ years in 1 of the following technologies: Terraform, Ansible, BICEP2+ years of experience with Docker and KubernetesAbility to generate high and low level solution design artifacts using Azure services or on-premise servicesExperience conducting design reviews and architecture reviews involving Application and Integration10+ years of Application and Integration experience, including experience on at least one of the following technologies:  Oracle SOA, Azure App Service, Azure Service Bus5+ Years of Application and Integration development experience using Oracle, SAP or Microsoft development platforms2+ Years of solution technical design involving Microsoft Azure, including both high-level solution design, and detailed technical design2+ years of experience working in TOGAF 9.2, Zachman, or other formal architecture framework8+ years of IT technical design experience overall (either exclusively or across applications, data, cloud infrastructure, networks, or security)5+ Years of architecting solutions using modern application design patterns including RESTful architectures, SOA architectures, and database level integrationUnderstanding of Azure network architectureUnderstanding of Azure security architecture and identity managementKnowledge of Azure data platforms and servicesBroad understanding of modern integration architecturesSolid understanding of and ability to describe modern Application and Integration architecture design patternsSolid understanding of modern data and analytics design patternsSolid grasp of IT governance and controlsExperience in software development with a variety of languagesExperience with Application and Integration infrastructure as a service (IaaS) / platform as a service (PaaS)Knowledge of Microsoft Data and Analytics platformsKnowledge of automation platformsKnowledge of serverless platformsStrong interpersonal collaboration skills and ability to work across technology domainsStrong verbal skills and ability to communicate both upward and downExcellent technical design skillsExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
