PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a results-driven and technically accomplished Senior Enterprise Architect to lead global initiatives in VMware automation and cloud infrastructure. Your Role and Impact
As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you’ll be a key member of the Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) Team, responsible for architecting and optimizing VMware environments, driving automation strategies, and delivering innovative hybrid cloud solutions. Your leadership and technical expertise will shape the future of infrastructure across global operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Architect, manage, and optimize global vRealize Automation (vRA) and VMware Cloud Director (VCD) environments.

Design and implement IaaS solutions using vRA, vRO, and vCenter APIs.

Develop automation workflows using JavaScript, REST APIs, PowerShell, and Git.

Lead upgrades and configurations for vRA 7.x, including tenant and fabric group setups.

Collaborate with development teams to implement VM lifecycle workflows in vRO.

Deliver proof-of-concept solutions for production and non-production environments.

Deploy and manage hybrid cloud solutions across:

Azure VMware Services (AVS) & Azure NetApp Files (ANF)

VMware Cloud on AWS & Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP

Google Cloud VMware Engine & Google Cloud NetApp Volumes

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

6+ years of IT architecture experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

Proven expertise in vRA, vRO, VCD, NSX-T, and VMware infrastructure.

Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, PowerShell, REST APIs).

Experience designing and implementing automated IaaS solutions.

VMware certifications strongly preferred.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with multi-cloud deployments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and methodologies.

Master’s degree or professional certifications (CPSM, PMP, CIPS).

Pay Rate: $62/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite/2 offsite

Pay Details: $62.00 per hour
