Senior Enterprise Architect – Banking Sector
Position Description:

Support a major banking client in developing and implementing strategies for managing technical debt, while ensuring alignment with the organization's business capability model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and execute technical debt management strategies aligned with business capabilities.
• Contribute to the establishment of a governance framework for technical debt.
• Propose remediation plans aligned with strategic and architectural directions.
• Support teams in identifying, documenting, and governing technical debt.
• Establish maturity indicators, tracking tools, and continuous improvement processes.
• Act as an agile coach to support best practices adoption.
• Provide internal teams with tools, guides, and training to execute action plans.
• Develop a prioritization methodology based on operational risks, technology interdependencies, and business goals.
• Equip stakeholders with dashboards, training and targeted communications.
• Contribute to risk assessment, performance tracking, and benefit realization.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10+ years of experience in IT.
• Background in enterprise architecture, digital transformation or IT governance.
• Strong knowledge of technical debt and obsolescence.
• Skills in agile coaching, change management, and strategic communication.
• Proficiency in business capability modeling (BCM).
• Familiarity with maturity frameworks (e.g., Gartner) and performance tools.
• Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation abilities.
