Senior Engineering Project Team Lead

The Internal Combustion Team, within the Earthmoving Powertrain Team, is focused on delivering innovative and cost-effective engine platforms to the Earthmoving Product lines. We enable our product groups to succeed by delivering engine solutions that leverage common validation, common configurations and components, and meet performance, value and durability expectations. As a **Senior Engineering Project Team Lead** on our team, you will be accountable for leading and delivering projects that support the four Earthmoving product groups, and span engine sizes from 2.8L to 27L. You will provide technical, program, strategy, and development leadership. You will lead engineers in the development, validation, and deployment of engine platforms, focusing on NTI and NPI execution, cost reduction, and commonization. **What You Will Do:** + Lead multiple strategic internal combustion projects across the Earthmoving Products. + Develop requirements for our internal combustion engines, working across the four product groups. + Identify and deliver opportunities to communize designs, requirements, and installations for the various engine platforms. + Coordinate with business resources to analyze the financial impact of our engine deployment programs. + Foster collaboration within Earthmoving and with our IPSD Medium and Large Process partners to deliver the best possible engines for Earthmoving. + Lead the Earthmoving Engine Deployment team, which is made up of engineers from each of the Earthmoving product groups. + Identify opportunities to leverage design, validation, and test activities to deliver the engine integration programs earlier, with higher quality. + Lead the definition, scoping, and design of Earthmoving engine test assets in support of strategic engine programs. **What You Have (Basic Qualifications):** + **Degree requirement:** Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering field, with strong product application and validation experience. + **Project Management:** Demonstrated success in leading complex engineering programs from concept through deployment, balancing technical, financial, and strategic priorities. + **Technical Excellence:** Deep expertise in engine development, including design, validation, and integration, with a focus on delivering high-performance, cost-effective solutions. + **Team Management:** Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams, fostering collaboration and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders and technical domains. **Additional Info** : + **Office Model:** This position requires the employee to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office. + **Travel:** 5-10% domestic and international travel is expected. + **Relocation:** Domestic relocation will be available to those who qualify. + **ISE:** ISE assignments are not available. + **Visa Sponsorship:** Visa sponsorship is not available. **Summary Pay Range:** $144,960.00 - $217,320.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
