The role of a Retail Packaging Engineering Program Manager (Retail Packaging EPM) is to drive execution of world class packaging to customers on a global scale. Enriching our packaging user experience (UX) in support of product launches and sustaining packaging programs. This includes schedule creation and coordination with inter-disciplinary teams to ensure packaging structure and artwork is developed and approved on-time for millions of customers all over the globe. In addition to creating the packaging plan, which includes a global workback schedule for structural packaging development, testing, and builds (i.e. pack outs). A qualified candidate will understand artwork strategy based upon regional launch requirements as well as Bill of Material (BOM) support though multiple NPI and sustaining programs, such as part number creation and change control management. Additionally the candidate will be responsible for Print On Demand (POD) labeling design and production.
Working closely with global, cross-functional team members (e.g., Packaging Engineering, Global Commodity Management, Industrial Design, Marketing, Product Management, Go-to-Market, Operations, Logistics, Technical Program Management), they define key aspects of product packaging via structural design, execution, test, and delivery; while motivating cross-functional teams internally and externally to deliver the product(s), as per the program requirements.
