Learn more about Splunk careers and how you can join our journey. **Role** This Senior Manager will lead the License Management team within the Splunk Platform. This team is responsible for building the capabilities and services needed to support core Enterprise licenses as well as add-on products for both cloud and on-premise customers. Your team will work closely with product owners to deliver an end-to-end Licensing platform for Splunk Enterprise. To that end, you will also work closely with other platform teams in the area that support both Monitoring of Splunk Enterprise and management of the Splunk portfolio. We are looking for a proven, seasoned engineering leader to lead the complex initiatives that require strong execution skills and cross-functional influence. **In this role, you will:** + Lead a team of engineers to design and deliver license management solutions, including API needed for new products to easily integrate with Splunk Enterprise. + Diagnose and resolve systemic obstacles that prevent your team from delivering these solutions. + Influence product teams to ensure we provide a consistent licensing and onboarding platform experience. + Partner with a product manager to prioritize initiatives taking into consideration business impact and operational improvements. + Communicate with a diverse set of cross-functional stakeholders (across Product, IT, Security, Field) to define and deliver a roadmap for our internal and external customers. + Plan and support career development. + Recruit and retain top talent. **Ideal Experience** + Experience leading engineering teams working on multiple projects and a diverse set of stakeholders. + Experience hiring and cultivating teams. + Experience developing platform-focused products and tools. + Experience working within geographically distributed organizations and with cross-functional teams. + Experience building and cultivating strong engineering practices and processes. + Consistent track record of delivering scalable, high performance, and high quality software systems. + Broad understanding of various cloud development technologies and industry trends for enterprise-scale, distributed systems. + Strong technical acumen, creativity, interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence.
