Senior Engineer - Welding **Location:** Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, India, 517 646 **Company:** Chart Industries **_Your Experience Should Be..._** BE (Mechanical) with 8 + years of relevant experience in welding functions in Heavy Engineering or Fabrication Industries. ASNT Level II Certificate with Good Knowledge of NDT Techniques Qualified Welding Engineering Course will be added advantage Familiar with related codes and standards as En-codes and ASME Sec VIII Div. I, Sec.II, Sec.V, Sec.IX, ASME B 31.3 NS BIS standards. **_What Will You Do?_** + Prepare PWPS, WPS and get approval from TPI. + Arrange material (base plate and welding consumable) to qualify PQR. + Coordinate with Lab for testing of Welded test Coupons. + Coordinate with TPI to approve WPS & PQR. + Qualification of welder /welding Operator. + Training of welders /welding operators. + Monitoring of consumable stock for proper planning. + Monitoring of backing and holding of electrode and flux ovens. + Visual inspection of weld and update in JHC. + Prepare weld book and get approval form TPI. + Coordinate with NDT to prepare report of weld repair percentage. + Arrange documents to QC for compile MDR. + Coordinate with production to control weld repair. + Coordinate with production to get done PTC as per requirements + Coordinate with store for inward material inspection. + Coordinate with TPI for witness of test coupons in outside lab. + Inspections at Vendor Place + Review of lab testing invoices + Responsible for implementing & maintaining records as per IMS and ASME Chart Industries is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicants because of his or her race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, military status, marital status, genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law.
