This role would work closely with our Middle East Advisory Services team. The successful applicant will operate within a team of environmental and sustainability professionals in Bangalore/Noida/Mumbai delivering the highest standards of technical work and aiding the continued success of the team by being an integral part of our client focused delivery of projects. + Conduct feasibility studies for waste management and waste treatment solution in all mining operations. + Conduct feasibility studies for Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) design and implementation + Experienced in overseeing the design, construction and operation management of lined storage facilities + Knowledge in providing geotechnical and environmental engineering advice in tailings and other waste containment structures + Knowledge in conducting stability and risk assessment of tailings and other waste containment structures + Ensure compliance and alignment with Middle East and international mining waste regulations and standards including but not limited to GISTM + Knowledge in assessment of environmental risks associated with mining waste disposal and placement and experienced in advising clients on mitigation measures. + Bachelor of Engineering in relevant discipline (Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field). + 8-10 years of extensive professional experience in Mining waste management, strong understanding and knowledge of environmental regulations, geotechnical aspects and sustainability practices in the Middles East region and internationally + Master’s degree and Environment & Sustainability experience is a plus + Has basic AutoCAD drafting skills + Ability to work across multiple disciplines and a flexible mindset to working. + Excellent written English and verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills.
