In this position the Senior Engineer – AAE Program Operations will be a member of the Advanced Application Engineering team responsible for planning, developing, and executing innovative and holistic organizational development programs that drive performance. These strategic programs will allow the organization to scale the team to meet business demands and ensure both on-time and on-budget delivery of early works projects and new product developments. This job will include being an active contributor to operationalizing the business vision/strategy into short-term, tactical actions as well as long-term strategic actions. Essential Responsibilities:
As the Senior Engineer – Advanced Applications Engineering Programs, you will:
Report solid line to the Senior Manager, Engineering Programs.Drives scale to support growing business commercial proposal activity and marketing opportunities.Run team operating reviews, including monthly operating reviews, SIOP reviews and daily management.Lead the organization in continuous improvement processes such as CAP, self-assessments, benchmarks, safety culture.Develop implementation, change management, and communication plans in support of recommendations provided for AAE and/or unit challenges and priorities.Create consistent and standard materials (e.g., Change Management Framework, OE domain area training & communications) for AAE.Apply change methodology and interventions to embed effective change management throughout the organization.Manage the implementation of business initiatives, program design, and organizational & cultural changes and lead associated project teams.Coach, facilitate, and drive maturity in the Operating Review process and execution.Lead implementation of Daily Management and Problem Solving in the business; Coach, facilitate, and drive maturity in the process and execution.Deliver process improvements that improve customer outcomes, KPIs and leadership behaviors.Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices. Lead benchmarking activities with other GVH business to gather best practices and inform decisions.Lead others to find creative solutions for complex problems. Evaluate quality of data, use internal and external resources.Analyze data to facilitate the development of recommendations to address/resolve potential and existing Institute and unit-level challenges.Provide guidance to leadership on management of external resources to ensure the quality of deliverables, enable flexibility and improved cost positions.Protect the Intellectual Property rights of GVH.Ensure adherence to GVH’s standards for nuclear safety and compliance.Partner with business teams and present product/program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leads across GVH.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related science or technical disciplineAt least 8 years of progressive experience in engineering design and/or project leadership experienceAt least 6 years of experience in the commercial nuclear industry or equivalent large scale new build experience in the power industryEligibility:

The base pay range for this position is $112,000 to $160,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on Friday August 22nd
