Position Overview

The Senior Software Test Engineer serves as a technical leader in our Quality Assurance 

organization. As a senior member of our team, you'll architect comprehensive testing strategies, 

lead cross-functional initiatives, and mentor junior engineers while driving quality excellence 

across multiple product areas. This role represents a significant opportunity to shape our quality 

practices and contribute to engineering excellence at scale.

Core Responsibilities

Architect and implement comprehensive automated testing frameworks across multiple feature domainsLead strategic test planning for complex epics and feature sets, considering technical dependencies and risk mitigationDesign and optimize scalable test solutions ensuring reliability and maintainabilityDrive defect prevention strategies and quality initiatives across multiple teamsCollaborate with cross-functional groups to identify and address testing bottlenecksProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineersDevelop and maintain comprehensive test coverage strategiesBalance quality objectives with release timelines effectivelyAct as a quality champion, embedding quality principles early in the development lifecycleDrive continuous improvement in testing processes and automation frameworksRepresent QA interests in architectural discussions and technical decisions

Team Collaboration

Contribute and participate in opportunities for technical innovation and experimentationCollaborate with product owners on feature requirementsParticipate in hiring and interviewing processes

Growth & Development

Lead technical discussions and architectural decisions for test automationMentor junior engineers in testing best practices and automationDrive quality initiatives across multiple teamsProvide technical guidance on testing strategiesContribute to engineering-wide initiatives and standard

Education and Experience

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in automated testing frameworks and toolsMust have experience in C#Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architectureExperience with cloud-based testing environmentsDeep understanding of performance and security testing conceptsProficiency in CI/CD tools and pipeline optimizationVersion control systems expertise (Git preferred)Database concepts and SQL knowledge Strong programming skills in an automation framework testing front end  applications (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) Deep understanding of software architecture patterns and system designExperience leading testing efforts for large-scale applicationsStrong technical leadership and mentoring skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with agile development methodologiesStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
