Job Responsibilities:

Objectives of the Job:

The core objective of this position is to lead the seat development of vehicle projects.

Main Duties:

Responsible for complete seats design & development.Ensure the on time release of the design & on time delivery.Preparing/Presenting of detailed structure proposal and documentation in CATIA V5 and MS office.Assist and support Group Leader/Department manager as specialist for technical seat issues.Be interface to OEM & manufacture suppliers as required.Coordination of project-related activities with other groups.Styling feasibility analysis and concept development with sections.Foster a culture that is in-line with Magna Core Value.

Qualifications:

Degree in Automotive engineering, Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, etc.Candidate should have eight or more years of Interior/Exterior engineering and development experience.Profound knowledge of simultaneous development processes in the automotive industry.Experienced in styling/ manufacture feasibility.Familiar with EUR/USA/CN regulation relevant to seats and surrounding parts.Relative knowledge on other system such as trim, chassis, E/E etcProficient in CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office suite.Good communication skills in oral and written EnglishOpen to travel domestically and abroad.Open mind and team work with people from different culturesAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
