Our vision is to enable the vital processes of our customers and thereby promote a more sustainable world via our Nexus of Clean Strategy. **_What Will You Do?_** + Conduct QC audits according to schedule and compile QC audit report (audit and report accurate, on time, and according to procedure). + Undertake Supplier inspections of dimensional, visual & performance tests of valves, piping, welding/fabrication, acoustic enclosures, silencers, base frames, machined components, pumps, motors, lube oil systems, hydraulic systems, heat exchangers, and report on conformance to DGM – SQA , Authorize the release of items to site in order to indicate quality conformance. + Initiate costumer inspection by placement of call to customers as per the quality plan and compile all the documentation as per customer quality assurance plan. + Initiate, follow up & close out of Non Conformance Reports (NCR) on products found to be non-compliant. Initiate CAPA / 8D with suppliers for all the NCRs; ensure all corrective and preventive measures are implemented. + Ensure stores goods received items are inspected & supplied in accordance to purchase order specification and provide assistance to in house inspections when .required. + Ensure qualification of welding process, welders, NDT operators, painting process, hydrostatics and other respective equipment test procedures and keep records. + Verify & ensure Suppliers are working in accordance to the latest copies of Howden IndiaPurchase Specifications, drawings & Procedures. + Monitor the manufacturing progress and do follow up/ expedite at supplier’s place whenever required. + Expedite progress on additional Orders at suppliers during inspections. Surveillances audits **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** **Complexity factors** : + Suppliers trying to change of goalposts – unable to comply to defined specifications & procedures + Pride in work of suppliers - Lack of maintaining a high Quality standard. + Lack of commitment - Suppliers does not always adhere to committed delivery dates. + Working with unskilled artisans – quality of fabrication leading to non-conformance on the product which can lead to delays **Creativity:** • Finding solutions to problems – assisting suppliers to find solutions, making suggestions to simplify work in progress • Ideas to improve production flow to save time and money in the fabrication process **_Your Experience Should Be..._** • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with ten to twelve years of work Experience Or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering with seven to ten years of work Experience from the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas Industry (PCOG).Knowledgeable on the use & applications of various measuring & test equipment, Ability to read & interpret technical drawings & specifications. • NDT leve-2 in PT, MT, UT,VT & RT from ASNT or equivalent. • Good knowledge of steel fabrication and welding processes. • Good knowledge of inspection & testing of process equipment like pressure vessel, lube oil systems, instrumentation, valve, piping fabrication, motors, control panels etc… • Computer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel & PowerPoint. • ISO 9000 quality Management systems training. • Accredited internal auditor on quality management system – 9001-2015. • Certified Welding Inspector Course from WRI, AWS or equivalent • NDT leve-2 in UT. • NDT leve-2 in RT film interpretation. • Skilled in environmental and legal issues around QC & Safety • Proficient in MS Office environment • Accredited internal auditor in Integrated Management systems.
