Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will:

Influence and align the company’s vision and strategy, while engaging our teams to develop and deliver specific, hardware infrastructure and projectsApplies foundational technical knowledge of an architecture solution to meet business requirements and resolve identified technical constraintsFocus on independent execution, problem solving and demonstration of passion towards engineering excellence. Relentlessly look for ways to simplify and automate our environmentsManage global regional Sustainable Service Program (SSP) and IBMi transformation projectsWork on various complex projects, as a Technical Subject Matter Expert. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical deliverables are metManage vendors across the project delivery and technical mattersParticipate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours. Provide 2nd line of advance technical support for major incidents. To lead problem resolution

Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent practical experienceExperience on IBM Power System and StorageExperience with IBMi platforms (e.g. OS/400, Power Server, DS8K, Power HMC and Virtualization I/O system...etc.)Sound Knowledge/Experience on OS upgrade, Firmware upgrade, HMC upgrade. Sound knowledge data centre operations, systems infrastructure and architecture designWorked in an infrastructure critical environment and understands how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologiesRequires a collaborative teammate who enjoy working in multi-functional groups and has the ability and willingness to work with others around the worldPresentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and business users. Sound analytical, problem-solving skills and strong work ethicsProficient English written and verbal communication skills
