Job Title: Engineer / Senior Engineer - Maintenance
Location: India Supply Unit, Chennai

Are you the One?

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.Minimum 4 years of experience in the maintenance department, preferably in a manufacturing or paint plant environment.Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.High level experience in Paint Shop – Powder Coating and Automatic conveyorized plantExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.


Key Skills & Experience

Hands-on Rich experience in Automatic paint plant operations and maintenance, including powder booth systems.Proficient in Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, and Omron PLC and HMI programming.Capable of designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining PLC programs to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.Practical experience with VFD programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Omron,  Mitsubishi drives).Working knowledge and hands-on experience with Fanuc and Yaskawa robot programming, operations, and maintenance.Experience in modifying PLC programs for equipment and process improvements.Experienced in handling hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with the ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical circuit diagrams.
 

What will you be doing?

Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Availability, MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).Align departmental goals, operations, and expenses with divisional strategies.Manage maintenance spare parts and plan for critical spare availability.Prepare preventive maintenance schedules and checklists, plan for equipment overhauls and adhere to PM schedules.Oversee and control breakdown maintenance activities across all machines, equipment, and utilities.Ensure service equipment is operated and maintained in line with OEM guidelines and industry best practices.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and OSHA safety standards.Assist in annual maintenance budget planning, forecasting, and cost analysis.Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.Promote a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.Monitor, analyze, and report maintenance performance metrics.
