Overview:
We are seeking a Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and certification of UL 891-compliant switchgear and switchboard systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled engineer with deep expertise in low-voltage power distribution and a passion for delivering safe, reliable, and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design and development of low-voltage switchgear and switchboard systems.Ensure compliance with UL 891, ANSI, IEEE, and NEC standards.Oversee product certification processes and support testing and validation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements and best practices.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in switchgear/switchboard design, preferably in a UL 891-compliant environment.Strong understanding of low-voltage power distribution, short-circuit analysis, and arc flash mitigation.Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.Familiarity with relevant standards: UL 891, ANSI, IEEE, and NEC.Preferred Skills:

The pay range for this position is $55.28 - $67.03/hr.
