Job description
As a team, we are responsible for the manufacturing process development for products that are transferred between Stryker plants or suppliers. As the main contact for the site, we form a strong virtual team with Stryker development divisions and suppliers worldwide. We coordinate the projects internationally and combine different divisional and cultural requirements into a successful strategy.
**What will you do**
+ As part of product transfers of a product line that is being relocated from one site to another, you will actively shape the process development and ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker procedures.
+ In addition to coordinating internal and external partners, you are responsible for solving technical challenges and implementing efficient manufacturing and testing strategies in a highly technical environment.
+ In your role, you will make a significant contribution to the realization of short transfer times, considering innovative problem-solving methods, continuous development and optimization of our manufacturing processes.
+ As a process engineer, you work closely with cross functional teams and international project teams and process experts.
+ Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation associated with product transfers.
+ Complete capability and MSA studies for in process inspection and generate subsequent Inspection documentation.
**What will you need**
+ Based on a successfully completed engineering degree (automation technology, process engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, medical technology, industrial engineering or similar), you ideally have 4 or more years of professional experience in the field of process development and/or process optimization.
+ While working with a wide range of interfaces, your good communication skills, your open and positive nature as well as your committed and independent way of working.
+ The individual should enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic and results orientated team environment
+ Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
+ Excellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organize and implement concurrent tasks.
+ Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product and process design.
+ Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
+ Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial.
+ Individual is willing to travel occasionally for business purposes.
**Skills & Experience -**
+ Experience on Mechanical engineering process and material like Machining, Sheet metals, welding etc.
+ Experience in PPAP, Supplier development, Global manufacturing environment.
+ Understanding on Quality Management (ISO 13485 or 21 CFR 820)
+ Understanding Medical Device Risk Management
+ Understanding of Medical Device Design Controls & Change Controls
+ Good knowledge of computer applications and excellent presentation skills.
+ Ability to influence, motivate and lead the cross functional team.
+ Ability to coach team members and develop them in role.
+ Project management experience and experience to lead & achieve global process improvement efforts.
+ Experience of working with multiple teams and collaborating across geographically spread multi-functional teams.
**Engineering Tool**
+ One PLM, CAD, Microsoft project
**Education**
+ BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Bio Medical / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or related field from premier institutes
**Experience**
+ 3 –8 years of experience in Medical Device domain
