Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Senior Engineer – IDM (R1-R4) to oversee the project management aspects of construction, installation, operational requirements, budgeting, safety, scheduling, and maintenance program creation of medical device production and assembly machines and equipment. Monitor all aspects of project management, including selection of equipment manufacturer, fabrication, and machine designs. Oversee “shake down” processes during troubleshooting and repairing machines prior to production runs. Review automated engineering processes to meet maximum efficiency per specifications. Create and implement project governance to include communication plans for project execution, metrics, status updates and resource tracking. Create project risk assessment, risk mitigation plans and train appropriate staff on the risks. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with supporting testing and data analysis. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience overseeing technology enhancements within the manufacturing environment; 5 years of experience investigating production non-conformances to identify root cases and implement corrective actions; 5 years of experience reviewing automated engineering processes for maximum efficiency of automated equipment applications; 5 years of experience in a cGMP environment; 5 years of experience on cross functional teams; and 2 years of experience with process qualification. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$151,216.00Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
