We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions. **Job Summary** TYLin is looking for a Senior Water Engineer to join our dynamic Water team in Washington State. In this leadership role, you’ll drive the delivery of innovative water and wastewater engineering solutions for a diverse range of clients across the Northwest region. Near-term opportunities include spearheading business and client development efforts, leading infrastructure and facilities planning and design, conducting technical studies and modeling, and preparing detailed engineering reports. This is a chance to make meaningful impact while working on high-profile projects that shape the future of infrastructure system in the region. **Responsibilities & Qualifications** **WHAT YOU’LL LEAD:** + Mentoring staff, providing career guidance, and supporting staff development while adhering to TYLin’s core values. + Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients to understand their needs and to ensure that their expectations are met. + Providing technical excellence in planning studies, preliminary designs, final designs, asset management, program management, bid assistance and office services during construction for linear infrastructure and facilities. + Managing multiple technical tasks simultaneously to lead teams to complete assignments to the client’s satisfaction while following the contract requirements and maintaining budget and schedule. + Managing staff assignments and workload to increase efficiency, while helping staff achieve their career objectives. + Identifying and leading business development pursuits, including positioning and preparation of proposals. **WHAT YOU BRING:** **Education:** Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or commensurate Engineering degree – Master’s degree is desirable. **Experience:** Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering consulting; studies, design of linear infrastructure or facilities, as well as business development experience. **Certification:** State of Washington PE certification (or ability to obtain quickly) is required; OR, ID, CA, or AZ PE certifications are desirable. + Demonstrated project delivery experience, including managing client expectations, technical teams, and project finances. + Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills with attention to detail. + Technical and entrepreneurial competencies with a desire to expand client relationships and establish new ones. **Additional Information** TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $135,000 - $175,900 annually for this position and local market.
