About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Engineer, Costing to join our team in Indonesia. This role is critical in driving cost efficiency and supporting product development through accurate and strategic costing practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, sourcing, manufacturing, and finance to ensure cost targets are met without compromising quality or innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and analyze product cost breakdowns for apparel and footwear categories.Collaborate with design, development, and sourcing teams to provide cost insights during product creation.Evaluate material usage, labor, overhead, and manufacturing processes to identify cost-saving opportunities.Support vendor negotiations with accurate cost data and benchmarking.Maintain and update costing databases and tools.Conduct cost simulations and scenario planning for new product introductions.Ensure compliance with internal costing standards and audit requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.Minimum 5–7 years of experience in costing within the apparel or footwear industry.Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and costing software/tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent in English; Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with global brands or manufacturers.Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.Knowledge of sustainability and cost implications in materials and production.
