This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. HSE function is responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities. **As HSE SME, what You’ll Do:** + Lead and coordinate HSE due diligence activities for new and client expansions + Lead HSE workstream calls with clients to understand their HSE requirements and jointly develop HSE deliverables prior to go live. HSE deliverables include HSE training matrix, program gap assessments, risk assessments, and an account stabilization plan. + Develop account HSE playbooks and procedures incorporating CBRE and client HSE requirements. Ensure systems / processes implemented across EMEA reflect the intentions of CBRE and the client and are in compliance with best industry practice (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or similar regional ternatives) + Manage multiple project plans effectively and facilitate change management. Ensure HSE initiatives drive program consistency and efficiency. + Provide routine updates in cross-functional project calls, proactively manage client HSE escalations and develop risk mitigation plans + Coordinate with account and regional HSE teams to onboard new account HSE professionals. + Collaborate with regional sales and transitions leaders to deliver best-in-class in region pursuit response and successful go-live. + Lead EMEA client engagements to share CBRE HSE programs, tools and best practices + Provide input on the regional HSE staffing model and the regional transition budget for due diligence activities. + Bring a continuous improvement mindset and actively implement ways to standardize and streamline HSE transition process and tools. + Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements. + Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. + Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8+ years of experience in HSE, engineering, sciences or project management roles. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Preferred certifications include NEBOSH, PMP, CIH/CSP, CPEA/QEP or equivalent regional certifications + Strong project management skills with an understanding of HSE management systems such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. ISO lead auditor certification preferred. + Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
