What you'll do...
+ Work with systems, controls, and platform engineers to deploy new diagnostic reporting flows
+ Support the design and implementation of build systems for embedded C libraries and applications
+ Design tools, development practices and highly reliable software services leveraging modern software engineering techniques and best practices
+ Develop code generation systems and libraries to leverage communication IDLs and statemachine DSLs
+ Develop portable and extensible firmware according to best practices and MISRA-C
+ Develop systems and frameworks to bring embedded systems engineering into the 21st century
+ Verify and profile systems in terms of developer experience, build time, memory overhead, and runtime
+ Provide detailed and complete design and implementation documentation
You'll have…
+ BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree.
+ A minimum of 5 years developing firmware for automotive or mission-critical systems, with experience in safety-rated systems.
+ Working knowledge of automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and their practical application to hardware and software development.
+ Proficiency in Python and embedded C programming languages.
+ Familiarity with Rust programming language.
+ Experience with advanced Git workflows.
+ Demonstrated technical leadership, strong communication, and teamwork skills, including mentoring junior engineers.
+ Strong understanding of real-time operating system fundamentals, including schedulers, concurrency, and memory management.
+ Experience with code generation, middleware, and communications protocol implementation.
+ Experience with Bazel

+ Experience with automotive communications and diagnostic protocols such as UDS, DoCAN, and DoIP.
+ Experience with DBC, LDF, and ARXML databases.
+ Ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle networking issues.
+ Experience implementing event-oriented systems.
+ Ability to understand business needs and relay into easy-to-understand, non-technical language.
