Senior Embedded Software Engineer
**Job Description** **DUTIES:** Develop software from firmware to application across custom embedded components for software defined vehicles. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Contribute to defining future iterations of the product and help the team to architect and design frameworks for high compute SoC based systems from conception to production. Develop software and firmware on high-performance hardware interfacing Linux kernel drivers and system libraries. Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation. Experiment with innovative hardware to uncover potential features for the product. Contribute to code bases written in embedded C or C++. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. 10% travel to client sites nationwide . Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office. **Additional Job Description** **REQUIREMENTS:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study. Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Architect, Senior Software Engineer, Senior Technical Lead or related occupation.
