Join us. **Job Description** Our Building Services team are currently seeking a Senior ELV Engineer - Design to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for large-scale commercial and industrial projects, ensuring efficient and innovative solutions that meet client needs and comply with local regulations. **Responsibilities:** + Develop comprehensive ELV system designs, including fire alarm, security, and communication systems + Create detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation using AutoCAD or similar CAD software + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ELV systems with building management systems (BMS) + Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements and constraints + Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and industry best practices + Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers + Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address design-related inquiries and issues + Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in ELV systems to drive innovation in design solutions **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field + Minimum 6 years of experience in ELV system design for large-scale building projects + Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software + Strong knowledge of building management systems (BMS), fire alarm, security, and communication systems + Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi and the UAE + Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously + Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred + In-depth understanding of industry standards and best practices for ELV design and implementation + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior engineers **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
