Senior Electronics Technician
Job Title: Electronics Technician
Job Description

This position involves assisting in the testing, rebuilding, and manufacturing of power and lighting sources that fail in the field. Approximately 65% of the time will be dedicated to hands-on troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues, while the remaining 35% will be spent writing reports and updating testing procedures.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in testing equipment.Create testing protocols as needed.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.Write reports and document necessary information for warranty needs.Assist in modifying schematics as required.Utilize structured text, such as C# or LabVIEW, for data and troubleshooting purposes.Help create new testing procedures.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting electronics capabilities.Understanding and working with schematics.Proficiency in using test equipment.Electrical testing knowledge.Experience with oscilloscopes and multimeters.Soldering and repair skills.PCB troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of an Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree is acceptable.Ability to solder and repair equipment as needed.Potential to manage up to 10 people long term, likely within a year.Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits on PCBs.Work Environment

The work environment includes an individual workstation with several benches, oscilloscope, volt meters, and power supplies for troubleshooting and repair processes. A soldering station is available for changing and replacing failed components. The setting is a cross between electronic assembly production and an R&D lab, where individuals have their own benches for independent troubleshooting and repair. The culture emphasizes strong communication, support, and the implementation of ideas and suggestions. Flexibility is provided for appointments and schedule adjustments. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
