We are a smaller, rapidly growing company based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Job Description: RTS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive hardware testing strategies for a wide range of components, support various forms of radiation effects testing (total dose, neutron, dose rate, single event effects) both at the Colorado Springs facility as well as off-site facilities, work with customers to define test requirements, work with test technicians, engineers and management to achieve company goals. Responsibilities: + Design, develop, and implement hardware test plans, protocols, and procedures. + Create and maintain test hardware and software infrastructure. + Perform rigorous hardware testing, including functional, performance, and reliability testing. + Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineers and test technicians to resolve issues. + Develop and maintain test documentation and procedures. + Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. + Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability considerations. + Contribute to the development of new testing methodologies and tools. + Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Skills and Requirements: + Experience testing a wide variety of electronic components from diodes to memories. + Experience with test automation frameworks. + Experience with test data analysis and reporting. + Experience with radiation effects testing of components.
