Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the analysis, evaluation, and performance verification of hardware and software systems under test. This position requires a strong experience in electrical engineering and a demonstrated ability to lead formal systems acceptance testing activities and integrate and test systems to the software/hardware level.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability matrices, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation.Lead formal systems acceptance testing activities.Communicate test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers through formal and informal reports and briefings.Integrate and test systems to the software/hardware level.Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results.Evaluate new technologies and assess their maturity for implementation.Sustain and maintain test environments for fielded systems.Coordinate support across multiple PEOs and PMs.Other duties may be assigned.Essential SkillsKnowledgeable and experienced in engineering aspects of system design and functionality.Capable of dissecting system function(s) for application in system test(s).Experience in integrating and testing and analysis of embedded processing systems to the software/hardware level.Knowledge and experience in communications systems, software languages/software testing, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanical design and analysis.Experience with requirements analysis and verification.Experience in developing test strategies, plans, reports, etc.Experience with software testing methodologies and tools.Excellent organizational, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.Strong communication and presentation skills.Work collaboratively with government personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders.Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in electrical engineering.BS in Electrical Engineering.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PEO IEW&S programs and systems.Experience with testing frameworks and applications.Familiarity with DoDI 5000.89, DoDM 5000.100 and/or Test and Evaluation Enterprise Guidebook.Work Environment
This position supports PM EW&C (Program Management: Electronic Warfare & Cyber) based out of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.
