  Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electrical design to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will lead and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the lead engineer, candidate to complete electrical engineering calculations and design review for upgrade of existing conveyor system.

Candidate Qualifications, Experience & Skills Australian accredited 4-year engineering degree. 5-10 years of BHP WAIO or similar industry experience in LV & HV systems up to 33kV Experience with HV and LV switch room systems and distribution transformers Experience on reviewing mechanical packages Familiarity with Australian Standards, studies including developing MTOs/Lists  Familiar with earthing (step -touch) and lightning system design Able to work autonomously and communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients and other stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail. Able to prepare / review load flow, short circuit and harmonic studies Experience in software design tools such as Digsilent Power Factory, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, is desirable.
