We are looking to train the next generation of leaders to take ownership of our growing pipeline of energy projects. Preferred candidates will be motivated to learn project leadership, electrical system design and have excellent spoken and written communication skills.

  Role accountabilities: Collaborate with various disciplines to develop project design solutions. Negotiating infrastructure solutions with significant state and local authorities  Project management, electrical, NBN and lighting system design.  Demonstrate excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  Qualifications & Experience:  Proven track record with Urban Redevelopment within Queensland. Especially residential sub-divisions. Experience working with Energy Queensland for the preparation of engineering drawings, reports, calculations and schedules.  Experience with local council procedures and applications.  Experience with road lighting and associated software to AS/NZS 1158 standards.  Knowledge of on site data collection / survey procedures.  Proficiency in computer aided design software.  Proficiency with electrical engineering software.  Experience with project management.

What you will gain knowledge in:

Electrical system design   High voltage network planning  Low voltage (AS3000) consumers mains design  Inter-disciplinary package coordination  Project management, including financial management and contractual negotiations  Construction estimating and coordination of tenders  Site experience and data collection  Construction crew support

Highly Regarded Skills / Qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering. CPEng & RPEQ highly regarded.   Experience with relevant electrical &/or project software.  Experience with computer programming   Familiarity with Energy Queensland and TMR design standards and procedures accreditation with EQL highly regarded.  Excellent spoken and written communication skills  Self-starter attitude and business acumen  Project management
