Support electrical design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project design teamResponsible for production of engineering calculations/analyses, design drawings and engineering reportsApply electrical engineering expertise to the design and qualification of structures, systems, and componentsProduce Procurement Specifications and Construction Specifications (electrical sections)Attend project meetings and perform field walk downsMentor junior engineers QualificationsMust be a U.S. Citizen; Dual citizenship with a country other than the U.S. does not qualify.
Essential skills and experience:
Must be able to obtain US Government security clearanceBSEE degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program; MSEE preferred5+ years of progressive responsible experience in electrical engineering in a nuclear environment (DOE preferred, commercial, or Navy)Experience with producing engineering designs for low to medium voltage electrical distribution systems and instrumentation wiring; experience with more than one type of system a plusExperience with NEC, UL508, codes and IES Lighting HandbookProficiency in load flow and/or arc flash analysis software such as ETAP and/or SKM Power ToolsProficiency in lighting analysis software such as Virtual and AGI32Valued but not required skills and experience:
