As a Senior OHL Designer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
Deliver Electrical specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, the clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Able to Conduct Site Visit for Various Project and in specific OHL Related project to identify the suitable rout for the OHL Able to work in PLSCAD Software to get the plan and profile , sag tension and stringing chart for the OHL for different voltage level starting from 33 KV till 400 KV Identify design scope based on the project definition and develop list of drawing deliverables and estimates to complete the work. Initiate and manage design & drafting assignments for projects specific requirements as per schedule and budget. Perform Electrical specific design and drafting services such as\: Ensure the project scope is clear, identify change & risk with design scope and any changes to scope is recorded as per project change management processes. Interpret and interface vendor equipment and/or third-party design documents into project design. Ensure all drawings and documents are prepared and checked in accordance with Worley drafting standard and checking procedure. Participate in various project reviews as required. Undertake design and drafting assignments in line with projects requirements on time and within budget. *About You\:
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes\:
· Diploma in Electrical Engineering .
· At least 15 years Electrical design and drafting experience in the Power , oil and gas Industry.
· Experience in Brownfield electrical systems .
· A good understanding International standards.
· Knowledge of PDO SP STD and DEP shell STD is Plus
· Highly effective technical and practical Electrical design and drafting skills.
· Proven skillset in utilizing the following software and tools\:
· PLSCAD for OHL Design is must.
· Microsoft Office and Excel
· AutoCad
· Lighting Software like Dialux etc
· 3D Modelling software’s (E3D and/or S3D) is plus.
· Effectively interface with other disciplines to ensure fit for purpose design.
· Proven experience in creating electrical deliverables such as\:
· Plan and Profile for OHL (33KV,132 KV,220 KV and 400 KV)
· Sag Tension and Stringing Chart for OHL (33KV,132 KV,220 KV and 400 KV)
· OHL Desktop Study for OHL route Identification
· Single line diagrams – HV and LV
· OHL Routing layout
· Preparation of Protection & Metering Drgs
· Cable schedule
· Material take offs
· Electrical Equipment / Switchroom layouts
· Lighting calculation (Dialux) & Lighting Layout
· Power and Cable Routing layouts
· Panel general arrangements
· 3D Modelling of Electrical Equipment, Cable Trays / Trenches / Raceways, Lighting
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to project team members.
