Our **Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD)** is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence. As the **Senior EHS Professional,** you will serve as the onsite point of contact for Environmental, Health and/or Safety (EHS) projects and assignments that support and enhance Caterpillar facility performance and compliance. **Additional Information:** + **Location:** Atlanta, GA (United States) + **Required Travel:** Up to 10% (Domestic) + **Relocation Assistance Offered:** None. + **US Work Authorization Sponsorship Offered:** None. **What You Will Do:** + Conduct process area risk assessment with operations, as well as annual fall protection inspections. + Perform SFMEA and safety risk assessments for operational process change. + Manage HOP’s and Safety walks. + Support all EHS compliance process and assessments training, including mobile vehicle record keeping is being maintained. + Ensure all safe job procedures are current, reviewed, communicated, acknowledged by leaders and employees, and followed consistently. + Support execution of safety playbook plays, incident investigations (i.e., ergo assessment, etc.), and annual emergency drills and hurricane preparedness. + Zip Steering team member and facilitate/lead ZIP safety team projects. + Coordinate and lead the annual shoe mobile program. + Participates in Incident Investigation Reviews, follows up on safety action items, and input Facility Safety Metrics monthly. + Notify EHS Regional of significant incidents, potential recordables, and local or government inspections. + Facilitate publishing of safety alerts and ensuring weekly safety topics are communicated. + Conduct Guardian Safety training and facilitate guardian program with local leadership. + Ensures annual inspections are complete and OSHA log is posted. + Onsite main point of contact for contractors and local annual compliance inspections. + Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time. **What You Have (Basic Requirements):** + **Process Management:** Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes. + **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. + **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. + **Influencing:** Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization. + **Initiative:** Being proactive and committing to action on self-identified job responsibilities and challenges; ability to seek out work and the drive to accomplish goals. + **Managing Multiple Priorities:** Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. + **Problem Solving:** Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. + **Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance:** Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies; ability to implement EHS policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards. **What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):** + Three (3) years of progressively responsible Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or Safety experience. + Previous OSHA experience. + Previous experience working within a manufacturing/distribution environment. + Ability to perform complex assignments. + Strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize and develop data management systems. + Self-starter with strong technical leadership skills. + Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well as employees in other units, customers, and suppliers. + Strong collaboration skills. + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite and tools. + Lean and/or 6 Sigma Black Belt Certification/Experience. **What You Will Get:** Through it all, we are one team (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYIDne7Q5ek&list=PLwAXbfivFg0jmiNqqgFLeQJpRB\_i-UVln&index=39)  – creating and delivering world-class components and solutions superior to the competition.  Learn more about the Caterpillar Experience (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvCYWtWARlk&list=PLwAXbfivFg0jmiNqqgFLeQJpRB\_i-UVln&index=25) . **About Caterpillar:** Caterpillar Inc. is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives.
