Within our Taste, Texture & Health business Unit, Health is a core element of our strategy providing the "Essential" in foods and beverages. We are developing and driving Health Benefits concepts that demonstrate how our customers can create convenient nutritious foods, and beverages.

Guided by consumer trends in Health Benefits combined with high Strategic thinking we develop relevant technologies, ingredients and solutions to bring the best innovations, to execute on our strategy to accelerate growth. We work cross-functionally in the company with Science & Research, Operations, Regulatory, Applications, Business partners and other Business Units. We are hiring for a Global (Sr.) Director Strategic Marketing & Innovation as part of the Health Benefits Platform reporting to the VP Beverages Ingredients Solutions – As Global (Sr.) Director Strategic Marketing & Innovation – Health Benefits, you will lead the innovation strategy and portfolio for TTH Health Benefit Solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping new health concepts, driving claim innovation, and launching impactful solutions that combine consumer insight, Science, regulatory and business growth. The capacity to zoom-out, with great understanding of what strategy really is will contribute to the success of the Health Benefit platform. You’ll work cross-functionally and globally to bring the future of health to life.

 

Your key responsibilities

Lead the Health Benefits innovation program across TTH (Taste and Ingredient Solutions), with a strong link to the HNC innovation program, and Taste segments.With great understanding of what the marketing strategies of different segments are, you translate market/consumer needs to solutionsTranslate consumer insights into compelling value propositions and health innovations.Drive claim innovation through scientific and clinical validation.Coordinate and manage innovation project and pipeline reviews and ensure timely phase transfersCollaborate with internal and external partners to develop and commercialize new health solutions.Manage the innovation portfolio, budget, and governance structure.Build and lead a virtual cross functional community across business units.

You bring

A technical academic background, ideally in Nutritional Science, Biotechnology, or Food & Beverage Sciences.At least 10 years of experience in the food & beverage industry, with a strong innovation track record.Strategic mindset with the ability to balance short- and long-term goals and experience in health is a big plus.Experience working in matrix organizations and leading through influence.Able to functionally lead key stakeholders – support functions, etc.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including with R&D, Regulatory, IP, and Venturing.Ability to create consensus and not to be driven by the consensus.Team worker placing team above self-interest - irradiates sense of communityEntrepreneurial drive, creativity, and a passion for delivering results
