Senior Director Replenishment & Inventory Management
Overview The Senior Director Replenishment will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of replenishment and inventory management processes at Sprouts. The Senior Director will collaborate closely with distributors, suppliers, category management, store operations and distribution. #LI-AD1 Overview of Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement replenishment and inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce costs, and improve service levels working closely with internal and external partners System Management: Oversee the management and enhancement of replenishment systems, ensuring they meet business needs and supports the overall strategy of inventory management. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Demand Planners, Replenishment Analysts, and Replenishment operations team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including forecasting, procurement, and sales, to ensure alignment of inventory strategies with overall business objectives. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor inventory performance and drive improvements. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to inventory management, including stockouts, overstock, and obsolescence. Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of inventory. Reporting: Provide regular reports and insights to the internal and external customers related to inventory status, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Additional Information: Travel: Occasional travel is required. Work Environment: Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Based in the Phoenix support office. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; master’s degree preferred and/or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in inventory management, replenishment, or supply chain roles within the retail industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership position. Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; proficiency in inventory management software and systems; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams; strategic thinker with a track record of driving process improvements.
