Senior Director People Operations
Overview The Sr. Director of People Operations will oversee the multi-faceted end-to-end HR operational infrastructure providing both front and back end operational support to the Catalyst Brand enterprise. This role will collaborate with the business to develop and implement long range plans necessary to incorporate technology change, maintain operational efficiencies and provide exceptional internal customer support as it relates to the HR function. In addition to core HR operational duties, this role will oversee the HR Project Management Office (PMO). This role will drive stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and change management efforts, and serve as a key liaison across HR, IT, Finance, and Executive Leadership to deliver high-impact, scalable outcomes. Responsibilities Administration and delivery of annual and adhoc processes related to policies, associate information including: Direct the strategy and operations of HR operations which includes, but is not limited to, compensation administration, rewards and recognition, severance administration, HR policies and procedures, HR SOX compliance, position management, and onboarding coordination. Build and enable strategies to ensure compliance and administration of programs such as Minimum Wage changes, Merit / Bonus pay administration, Salary Plan/Grade maintenance and Wage Structure changes. Enable and empower associate, managers, HR Team and enterprise through People solutions to engage and manage our workforce: Time keeping applications that support Field and Supply Chain locations. This includes hours worked records and compliance. Tracking and supporting system connectivity for associate Paid Time Off programs. Partner with HRIS, Payroll teams to develop effective solutions to resolve break fixes or other challenges that arise. Develop effective, productive relationships with functional leaders and partners in HR, IT and Finance; leverage these relationships to produce superior outcomes. Development / creation of reporting and analytical tools to enable the People Team, Enterprise and Business to make Human Capital decisions based on data: Direct the strategy and operations of all reporting and HR analytics including, but not limited to, performance dashboards, background checks, statutory compliance reporting, and custom reporting. Responsible for data management, accuracy audits and compliance Create reporting for Federal and State mandated reporting, legal litigation, pay equity projects compliance requirements & filings, etc. Manage domestic and international HR Shared Services Teams and provide ongoing development and career opportunities that effectively attract, motivate, and retain key talent. Manage a portfolio of strategic projects—ranging from HR technology implementations to process optimization—ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, budget discipline, and timeline adherence. Driving integration roadmaps across systems, processes, and teams, including coordination with third-party vendors and partners Overseeing communication and steering committee updates to ensure executive visibility and decision support Overseeing HR administrative budgets planning and management including forecasting, monitoring expenditures, identifying cost saving opportunities and ensuring alignment with overall enterprise goals Qualifications College degree with concentration in human resources, information technology, or related discipline required; advanced degree preferred 10+ years’ experience in human resources, information technology or a related discipline required; 3+ years in a leadership role preferred  Expert knowledge and conceptual mastery of HR information systems and HR processes required basic understanding and exposure to retail operations preferred Proficient understanding of HCM systems and other HR technology platforms Proficient understanding of people data management, reporting principles and testing standards Ability to convey information and advice on complex matters to divergent audiences with an adaptable communication style Expert ability to work cross-functionally, reconciling stakeholder conflicts and influencing senior leaders using adaptive persuasion Ability to translate strategic plans into operational objectives and maintain focus and execution on moderate to long-term goals Expert project management skills, including the ability to assess risk, manage and organize work, allocate budget, and people resources, adapt to unfolding circumstances, and deliver on-time results.
