The Compliance, Governance & Sustainability team within the Manufacturing Devices Operations (MDO), is seeking a strategic and innovative **Senior Director of Operational Excellence** **Manager** to lead the scalability of operations across the Manufacturing Devices Operations (MDO) organization, encompassing both manufacturing and supply chain functions. This role will manage a cross-team of experts in managing operations at scale through the integration of AI and continuous improvement of information management, performance tracking, and compliance support. A key focus will be supporting resilience, compliance and continuity of supply, while standardizing managed services and enabling data-driven decision-making.

**Responsibilities**
+ Center of Excellence Leadership:Build and lead a scalable CoE to support operational agility, innovation, and best practices across MDO. Enable dynamic scaling of services and resources to meet fluctuating business and market demands.
+ Operational Resilience & Supply Continuity:Develop and implement strategies to ensure continuity of manufacturing and supply chain operations. Proactively identify risks and build mitigation frameworks to maintain uninterrupted product flow.
+ Performance Management & Analytics:Design and manage performance tracking systems and KPIs to monitor operational health and efficiency. Leverage advanced analytics to deliver insights that drive strategic and tactical decisions.
+ Compliance & Reporting:Oversee standardized reporting processes to meet internal governance and external compliance requirements. Ensure timely, accurate, and actionable reporting across manufacturing and supply chain functions.
+ Managed Services Optimization:Standardize and manage delivery of managed services across MDO, ensuring consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Oversee fungible resource pools to support flexible, on-demand service delivery.
+ Technology & AI Integration:Lead the adoption and integration of agentic AI and automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency and innovation. Collaborate with IT, data, and engineering teams to align AI initiatives with MDO objectives.
+ Cross-Functional Leadership:Partner with senior leaders across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and business operations to align strategies and drive execution. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in business, legal/regulatory, compliance, audit/consulting firm
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience in building and scaling Centers of Excellence or similar operational frameworks.
+ Experience in operational resilience, compliance reporting, and managed services.
+ 4+ years of people management experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
+ Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement certification.
+ Experience with enterprise analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI).
+ Knowledge of cloud-based automation, and AI integration tools.
+ Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, especially agentic AI applications in manufacturing and supply chain.
+ Experience in leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Agility and flexibility on execution.
Compliance M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
