Position Summary: The Senior Director will lead the development of comprehensive integrated facility, utility and equipment management programs throughout the Hartford HealthCare system. The Senior Director will develop standardization across the system assuring best practices, efficacy, safety and maximizing cost saving opportunities and integrates system subject matter experts in safety management with all entities such as: Life and Fire System, Environmental Compliance & Hazardous Materials Management, Occupational Safety & Regulatory Programs. Key Accountabilities: * Ensure system subject matter experts are fully integrated into the systems as program leaders and consultants in Life & Fire Safety, Environmental Compliance, Occupational Safety and the Asset Management Program to identify cost saving and capital planning for Facility and Utility Management Systems. Partner with Construction leadership to facilitate annual System Facilities Capital prioritization process * Lead and administer critical systems and programs such as: Respiratory Fit, Water & Energy Management, Environment of Care and Facility Regulatory Readiness and Building System Management software such as Origin Capital Management, Desigo Building Management and Brightly Worxhub issue management systems * Translate strategy into business and operational goals to promote a high-performance, customer-focused local facilities team. Collaborate with system leaders to implement business process changes and develop improvements to standard work established from current as well as best practice * Engage in high priority facilities projects to ensure subject matter experts and national facilities best practices are leveraged for successful issue resolution and project execution * Work to standardize risk mitigation strategies and key performance metrics at the local levels. Create a process to report utility and operational failures, including standard work that ensure safe business continuity. Ensure all system policies are updated and communicated with appropriate training given to key stakeholders * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field is required * Seven plus years of progressive leadership as a director in a facilities related role. Hospital environment experience is preferred * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to drive cost-saving initiatives * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with stakeholders across all levels of the organization * Strong organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities * Proven experience building and maintaining relationships * Strong leadership skills, ability to lead through influence * Strong project management skills, proven ability to execute * Strong Excel skills, including the ability to organize data, enter formulas, and create reports We take great care of careers.
