Responsibilities Reporting to the SVP of Sales, the Sr. Director, Kroger is a key contributor in continued development of go to market strategies that drive growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth agenda and executing effective strategies to facilitate profitable sales growth within the defined categories managed. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial drive and passion to drive transformational growth, thought and people leadership, and an ability to be data driven. Inspire the sales team to help drive Kroger performance vs. plan (AOP delivery), share, revenue, and margin targets. Drives sales growth at Kroger; works closely with innovation Team to develop new products for these channels Develop accurate demand plans and addresses gaps in customer strategic plan Develops relationships with key choice makers at the management, executive level within assigned accounts Responsible for customer business reviews focused on sales results, new item performance, and growth opportunities Collaborates with broker representatives who serve as a resource for market growth opportunities, proposals and programs Strengthens Bob Evans brand at Key Accounts and communicates the vision and purpose of the organization, positions Bob Evans as expert in convenient meal solutions Responsible for a team focused on the Kroger club business and elevates the internal team’s knowledge of Key Account business and within Bob Evans more broadly Responsible for hiring, training, developing, motivating, and evaluating managers to achieve division and company goals and objectives. Coach’s current direct reports for growth and development opportunities. Responsible for account planning process for top accounts and develops the strategic and tactical plan for business with specific customers. Implement proven fact-based selling techniques, and reporting, utilizing IRI (Information Resources Inc.) and other reputable industry resources to make recommendations and develop action plans Collaborates with various internal teams to create winning business propositions that be benefit Bob Evans and the customer (Category Management, Trade Management, Brand, Shopper Marketing, and E-Commerce) Champions Bob Evans culture and values by modeling expected practices and behaviors. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of eight years of management experience in a fast-moving customer packaged goods environment. Five to seven years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate and embrace team-based professional development. Results Driven with a proven track record of trade channel/customer expansion with Walmart, Sam’s Club, Kroger, Target, or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutions. Experience using marketing and sales principles, as well as strong strategic and reasoning skills. The pay range for this position is $149,156 - $244,616 per year.
