Travel: This role requires 26 – 50% travel.

The Coca-Cola Company, a global beverage leader with a rich history of over 136 years, a portfolio of over 200 brands worldwide, with 60+ independently owned and operated bottling partners, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Franchise Leader. This role serves as the primary point of contact for and partner to Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, the 3rd largest privately held bottler & 6th largest independent bottler, spanning 47 counties, including key cities such as Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, serving a hyper-diverse market of 21M consumers.  The senior leader will represent the total region portfolio and steward the development of Coca-Cola brands, growing revenue, volume, share, and transactions in partnership with Coke Florida. We are looking for candidates familiar with bottling operations and/or Franchise Leadership experience who can build relationships and execute strategies across our network. 

What You'll Do for Us:

Consultative Partnering and Leadership:

The Senior Director will go beyond traditional management to serve as a strategic business partner to Coke Florida. In this role, you will use your ability to track and analyze performance, dive deep into data, extract meaningful insights, and present clear, impactful business recommendations. By telling stories that inspire action, you’ll help Coca-Cola’s bottler ecosystem embrace bold, innovative solutions and growth opportunities. This leader will ensure optimal system and performance management routines to steward data and performance insights, and opportunities. The role serves as a liaison between bottlers and the ‘Center’ for commercial plans, building capabilities and operationalizing strategies, processes and platforms that lead to best in class execution (i.e., Execute-Sell-Hunt a strategic framework to support off-shelf execution; Market Street Challenge, a healthy competition that rewards marketplace execution; PiCOS, unique picture of success linked to shopper and customer needs).

This leader will also partner with the Senior Director of Commercial on the development of the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and Joint Business Plan (JBP).

As the bridge between The Coca-Cola Company and its bottling partners, this leader plays a key role in partnering with Coke Florida to push the boundaries of how we go to market. This includes bringing data-oriented thinking to every conversation and crafting sustainable frameworks that unlock mutual abilities to deliver results that elevate the Coca-Cola portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Transform Data into Strategic Storytelling: Analyze and synthesize market data, performance metrics, and customer insights to build robust business cases that inspire growth opportunities. Use storytelling to translate data into actionable recommendations, fostering alignment with franchise partners around strategies to drive growth, efficiency, and consumer engagement.

Be a Strategic Consultant to Bottler Partners: Act as a trusted partner to Coke Florida, challenging the status quo by identifying opportunities for growth and preparing plans to unlock revenue potential, optimize brand/category performance, and deliver sustainable growth across all channels.

Lead performance management routines with responsibility for stewardship of weekly/monthly/quarterly data, which includes reporting on revenue, volume, share, transactions, and execution objectives/metrics.

Operationalize commercial strategies, frameworks, processes, and platforms to drive local market execution excellence.

Ensures distribution capability efficiencies, outlet execution,n and expansion benchmarks and objectives are set and met through the execution of Bottler performance.

Anticipate Market Trends and Competitive Risks: Actively monitor evolving market conditions and competitive activities, providing critical insights to Bottler and local associates. Utilize these insights to drive adaptive decision-making and identify growth opportunities for Coca-Cola brands.

Collaborate with franchise peers and bottlers on the contingency plan to deliver annual business plan performance.

Standardize a common approach to capability.

Partner with the bottler to assess capabilities against established commercial strategies and objectives; identify gaps and develop action plans to improve capabilities.

Coordinate training/development to enable more effective processes, scorecards, and business routines to achieve the annual business plan.

Works with the franchise commercial director to steward the planning process.

Involvement with governance agreements and managing governance routines.

Manages discretionary budgets based on regional need..

What You'll Need 

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. 

7-10 or more years in a CPG organization responsible for direct sales, key accounts, or franchise management with P&L responsibility. 

Experience as a Business Partner with Bottler or manufacturing experience in the Food and Beverage industry. 

Experience with annual business planning, forecasting, customer, and distributor management. 

Demonstrated track record for delivering positive revenue results. 

Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a plus!

Pay Range:

$169,000 - $196,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
