We’re hiring for a new position, Senior Director Group Audit, Americas, who will ensure that audits, which are tuned to dsm-firmenich’s group risks, are executed in line with the Global Internal Audit Standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Come build and lead a team of professional auditors and develop them to build their competencies and promote their careers.
Group Audit is transforming our organization into three regions (Americas/APAC/EMEA), along with a Center of Excellence (CoE). We anticipate that the head of each region will strongly interact together, along with Head of the Center of Excellence, to align on processes, data sharing and work methods. The position serves as a chief audit officer for the region.
As part of the Group Audit Management Team, Senior Director Group Audit, Americas drives improvements, acts as change agent and co-creates the global long-term audit strategy and methodology to maximize added value to the Group. You’ll build excellent connect with regional leadership, as well as 1st and 2nd line functions and other assurance providers to bring governance and risk management processes to benchmark level. You will report to the Global Head of Group Audit.

**Your key responsibilities**
+ Ensure execution of the audit plan for the Americas
+ Build connections with regional leadership and act as a Critical Friend
+ Drive change: innovate the audit methodology to maximize value
+ Build, manage, coach and develop the audit team
+ Communicate results to internal stakeholders in a concise and constructive manner
+ Serve as liaison with business managers other internal compliance providers to assist the achievement of objectives and facilitate strong governance and risk management within the Internal Audit Group
_This position is eligible for the dsm_ _-firmenich_ _Hybrid Working model, spending 3 days per week in the Princeton, NJ office and the balance of the work week in a home office._

**You bring:**
+ Minimum 10 years of internal audit experience in a publicly traded multinational B2B or B2C company required
+ Proven expertise in the field of internal audit; CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) and/or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) a strong plus
+ An ability to make an impact and shape the future in internal audit
+ Experience directly managing others required, along with proven leadership skills needed to build, lead and develop teams
+ A strong delivery mindset and approach with an affinity for IT and data driven technology
+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus
_The salary scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $176,300-210,000._
_In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
