**Job Description**
**Are you interested in leading our advocacy efforts with EMEA based governments? We have an opportunity for a Senior Director in our Government & Public Affairs team to develop and drive government and public affairs strategies to align with the overall goals of the LEGO Group.**
**Core Responsibilities**
**Strategic Leadership**
+ Lead and develop the EMEA GPA team, fostering professional growth and capability development.
+ Serve as a key member of the GPA global leadership team, helping shape the function’s continued evolution and global impact.
**Policy Strategy & Advocacy**
+ Develop and deliver GPA action plans aligned with the LEGO Group’s commercial objectives in the region.
+ Design and implement strategic advocacy programmes to elevate the LEGO Group’s voice on priority issues.
+ Map and assess policy risks and opportunities, ensuring timely and effective engagement and dissemination of information across internal stakeholders.
+ Provide insightful policy analysis to senior leadership to guide decision-making, as well as shape policy positions.
**Executive Engagement**
+ Activate and support the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), EMEA leaders, and the GPA Global VP in impactful senior level external engagements.
**Stakeholder Engagement & Influence**
+ Take a leadership role in toy and trade associations, helping set strategic direction and influence key industry issues.
+ Represent the LEGO Group in relevant external forums, associations and stakeholder meetings, advocating for policies that support the LEGO Group and wider industry.
**External Consultancy Oversight**
+ Manage external political consultants across key markets to maximise strategic advice and advocacy impact.

**Do you have what it takes?**
+ Proven experience in public/government affairs or policy leadership in a multinational context.
+ Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing diverse, high-performing teams.
+ Ability to translate complex policy developments into actionable business insights.
+ Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement at senior levels, including industry associations and executive leaders.
+ Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.
+ Deep understanding of the policymaking environment and stakeholder dynamics across EMEA.
+ Clear understanding of how to impactfully influence Brussels as a regulatory centre.
