Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To build a quality, brand building distribution network that can generate sales revenue to meet company business goals in Kids franchise channel.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement kids channel account portfolio strategy and execute based on overall channel strategies jointly with the VP/GM; Develop kids 3-5 year growth plan and geographic plan together with VP/GM to ensure adidas brand can out-grow our competitor in the marketplace. Lead kids sales team to achieve best POS portfolio, SI, ST, retail KPIs, Inventory level and to manage payment and credit Brief and work with BU, Marketing, Franchise buying & operations, DTC retail & eCOM team to provide strong support to accounts in Kids franchise channel aligned with business growth targets. Work with franchise BU and buying team to provide range feedback and buying strategy based on market feedback and channel biz reality. Work with marketplace management team to ensure proper POS expansion for Kids franchise channel in China. Work with marketing, VM, ISC teams for best kids story telling and consumer journey To ensure the best possible Net Sales result by setting clear targets and action points;constant tracking of results; analysis of risks & new business opportunities. To ensure the sales force is applying available adidas standards and best practices in daily work.
Management
Manages and executes a sales plan that supports the company business plan Manages the kids sales team to implement the business plan with high quality Works closely with retail development, retail marketing and operations teams to provide the best support to accounts Develops and manages proper account structure in Kids franchise channel to better meet company business development needs Manages trade inventory on a healthy track Executes each season’s future order sales/shipping plan
Systems and Processes
Coordinates and oversees the Kids franchise channel future order sales program, including preparation and communication Manages sales calling routes and report process Ensures sales team helps Kids franchise channel to develop right future orders each season by getting good understanding of the performance of existing POS, new POS development plan and seasonal range structure
People Management
Provides strong leadership for horizontal as well as vertical reports Sets performance plans and reviews with each direct report Plans include goals, key job responsibilities, competency development, measures and follow up activities Reviews actual results versus defined performance KPIs Provides coaching and feedback to subordinates in daily job Develops workforce’s planning for the team with the support from VP/GM and HR Manage kids sales team T&E

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of sales experience within large sales organisations, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG of which min 10 years in Sales Bachelor’s degree or above Fluent English speaking and writing skills Retailing experience is a plus
