Senior Director – Marketing and Customer Analytics

Overview

Labcorp, a Forbes 2025 “Best Large Employer,” is looking for a visionary data leader to join our Global Insights team in Bangalore. As Senior Director of Marketing and Customer Analytics, you’ll steer the strategy for how Labcorp leverages data to drive marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, and enterprise growth.

What You’ll Lead

Marketing Analytics Vision & Roadmap: Define and execute Labcorp’s long-term marketing analytics strategy, integrating market, product, and customer intelligence.Insight to Impact: Deliver actionable insights to accelerate campaign planning, performance measurement, and audience segmentation.AI-Driven Innovation: Champion the use of AI tools and platforms to elevate decision-making and personalize customer engagement.Team & Culture: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, transforming analytics from support to strategic partnership.

This role reports functionally to the VP of Global Insights and is a part of the Global Marketing Center of Excellence (CoE), based in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities:

This person will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing analytics team, partnering closely with marketing and business leaders to deliver actionable insights that drive growth. The right individual is comfortable with making decisions when there is ambiguity. S/he is highly collaborative and can lead through influence by involving a diverse array of internal stakeholders and business leaders

Marketing and customer analytics strategyBuild long-term marketing and customer analytics strategy: a roadmap for measuring comprehensive, multichannel marketing programs and campaigns while establishing key metricsDevelop integrated data roadmap aligned to enable better customer understanding and experiences. This includes understanding and documenting the connectivity of various Martech platforms (Adobe, Salesforce, etc) and how this data proves effectiveness of marketing efforts with our customersInform and inspire action that drives business growthWork closely with stakeholders to support and enhance organization’s ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.Collaborate with marketing and business partners to support the development of audience segmentation, web and media measurement, event optimization models and more.Present insights and recommendations to marketing and business teamsProvide analytical support for new product launches and market expansionCampaign analytics and marketing performanceSupport campaign planning with audience insights and performance forecastsManage marketing measurement initiatives, working with customer marketers, brand and digital marketing to establish KPI and tracking processesWork with digital team and others to enable more personalized customer engagementLead benchmarking activities to ensure consistent ROI monitoring across marketing investmentEducate marketing partners on data availability, KPI alignment to business goals, and tracking best practices to fuel better data accuracy and availabilityTeam leadership and developmentBuild, mentor, and manage a team of marketing analysts and data scientists to drive our global programsCreate and socialize the mission, vision and values of the analytics teamDefine the team's support model for different marketing stakeholdersHelp evolve the team from a data provisioner to a strategic partner of marketingCoach teams on data connectivity, data usage, and performance storytelling through data. Train teams on data connectivity best practices through technology driven automationEvaluate and implement marketing analytics tools, platforms and partnersDevelop and deliver analytical tools to better support partners in making data driven decisionsUncover new analytical models, tools and applications that can add incremental value to the organization. Identify new paths to maximize AI and other advanced analytical tools.Determine the need for, selecting and managing external service providers for marketing analyticsIdentify and enhance data collection and analysis processes, and quantitative models for measurement and benchmarkingDrive automation of reporting and analytical processes. Coach team members on best practices around automation and data hygienePartner with IT teams to ensure reliable data infrastructureEnsure that Labcorp data is being streamlined and maximized across the organization

Requirements:

15+ years in analytics, with 10+ years leading cross-functional teamsProven track record of shaping and executing marketing data strategies in Fortune 500 settingsAbility to lead multiple project teams across multiple time zones with minimal supervisionExpertise in advanced analytics and predictive modelingExperience integrating commercial, digital and other data sources to drive insights and business actionExceptional communicator, capable of turning analytics into actionable stories that move stakeholdersCapable of setting strategic vision, the tactical roadmap to deliver this vision, and converting data from insights to actionAnalysis, modeling, and visualization of large, complex, and heterogeneous data setsWorking knowledge of data architecture principles and componentsExperience with large data sets/ data warehouses, including the ability to extract data from data sets using advanced scripting or SQLPrior experience and/or knowledge of:Qualtrics, Salesforce, Alchemer, and / or similar customer data platformsVisualizations tools (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire)Eloqua, SalesForce, Adobe and other martech platformsAbility to leverage Python, R, or SAS to help facilitate predictive analyticsExperience with ETL and/or data prep tools, Databricks and/or PySparkAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong written and verbal presentation. Strong communicator and experience using data to tell a storyAttention to detail and results oriented.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, or Business, Master’s degree a strong plus
